Aylesbury Vale LGBT Social Group is proud to present a Weekly LGBT+ Friends and Families Hub, held every Thursday Evening, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Walton Court Community Centre in Southcourt
Due mainly to our continued success, we have now moved to our new home, at the Walton Court Community Centre, to continue our ongoing commitment, to those who were unable to attend our Twice-Monthly LGBT+ Coffee Posses.
"The Hub" provides our valued members with a full program of activities specifically designed and tailored towards Buckinghamshire's LGBT+ Community, their families, friends and allies
Our new location has now enabled us to offer an even wider variety of activities, which includes a larger version of our already successful LGBT+ Coffee Posse and will shortly be announcing further initiatives, which we hope to include:
Further announcements about the above services will be available, on our website, as and when the necessary funding is agreed upon and implemented
We are also hoping to continue to offer a variety of different monthly speakers, physical activities, C-Card Sessions and other services, as needs are identified and assessed

We will soon become one of the first Third-Party Hate Crime Reporting Hubs, a new project developed by Buckinghamshire Council, in conjunction with Aylesbury Vale LGBT Social Group, Aylesbury Vale Transgender Community and Friends, and the Police and Crime Commissioner's Office
We are hopefully going live, in April 2022, following further instructions from the Hate Crime Reporting Hub Steering Group
However, you can still book appointments, on our Online Appointment Booking System here
Appointments will be available every Thursday evening, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, alongside the LGBT+ Friends and Families Hub

This is an online Safe Space, where you can share experiences, gain support, compare life experiences and be yourself, in as safe an environment as possible.
Share your stories and experiences of Conversion Therapy:
- How has it affected your life?
- What is the long-term impact?
- Where and how did it happen?
- Who was responsible?
- What help and support do you need?
- How has being a member of this group been of benefit?
We are also hoping to attract a growing number of support, outreach and recovery organisations, to who we will be more than happy to refer or signpost you to.
Remember, this group is for you, to help support fellow survivors of the deplorable practice that is LGBTQIA+ Conversion Therapy.
Please use it as a resource to support fellow members and help educate those who do not or refuse to understand the long term damage that these kinds of "therapies" can do.
