As you know the Bucks County Museum in Aylesbury is currently undergoing a major refit of its galleries. One of the refurbished galleries is to be called 'Discover Bucks People' and will showcase amongst some fantastic objects, photographs of people from the county in the past     

However, it is the museum's ambition to give the gallery a contemporary feel, by displaying images of people from a diverse range of backgrounds in Bucks today. The plan is to combine both the traditional and the modern images on five large digital screens in the Discover Bucks Gallery

With this is in mind, the museum is currently recruiting a high-quality professional photographer 

We were hoping that you would be willing to take part in one of the photoshoots to be arranged

The photoshoots would take place in the second half of May and early June at your convenience, either at the museum or in a space where you would feel comfortable

The photographer and museum team will of course ensure that the most secure Covid-19 security is in place as possible.

By taking part you will be representing the Bucks community today; your photograph will feature in the Discover Bucks Gallery for the years to come, and in addition to having the chance to work with an amazing professional photographer, we will share the digital image with you to reproduce as you see fit!

If your photoshoot takes place at the Bucks County Museum in Aylesbury, we will reimburse your travel expenses
